Karen Koski is a Managing Director within BTIG Healthcare Investment Banking, focused on medical devices, life sciences tools and diagnostics companies. Prior to joining BTIG Investment Banking, Ms. Koski was Vice President of Strategy and Investor Relations at Oxford Immunotec, where she markedly increased Oxford’s outreach amongst the investment community, led several strategic initiatives across multiple functional areas, and played a central role in the sale of Oxford’s U.S. laboratory services business to Quest Diagnostics. Previously, she spent several years in healthcare equity research, including a role as a Director at BTIG, where she was named an All-America Research Team Rising Star by Institutional Investor in 2016 for her coverage of life science and diagnostic tools. Earlier in her career, Ms. Koski was an Equity Research Associate on the medical device equity research team at Lazard Capital Markets. She began her career as a Medical Technologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she also completed clinical rotations in hematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry and blood banking. Ms. Koski earned a BS in medical technology from the University of Vermont.
