Matt Clark

Matt Clark is a Managing Director and Head of BTIG Investment Banking. He is also a member of the firm’s Global Operating Committee. Prior to BTIG, Mr. Clark was a Managing Director of Corporate and Venture Services at ThinkEquity Partners, where he developed a venture capital community calling effort for the execution of private and public capital market transactions. Previously, he ran the Special Equities division at Silicon Valley Bank Securities, where he served as a Managing Director and drove the development of a broker-dealer platform to service the capital markets needs of the bank’s client base. Earlier in his career, Mr. Clark was a Managing Director and Head of the Special Situations desk at Banc of America Securities, where he was responsible for all transactions originating out of the Private Equity/Venture Capital coverage efforts across the Global Commercial Investment Bank. He earned his BA in history from the University of California, Berkeley.
