BTIG Adds Amanda Murphy, CFA, as a Managing Director and Senior Biotechnology Equity Analyst

New York – October 1, 2018 – BTIG, LLC announced today that Amanda Murphy, CFA, has joined the firm’s Research and Strategy division. As a senior equity research analyst focused on the biotechnology sector, Ms. Murphy specializes in gene therapy, gene editing and cell therapy for both burgeoning private and established public healthcare companies. Based in Chicago, she will report into David Lenchus, Director of Research at BTIG.

Ms. Murphy joins BTIG as a Managing Director. Prior to BTIG, she was a Partner and Healthcare Analyst at William Blair & Company, focused on diagnostic services and life sciences. Previously, Ms. Murphy was a Business Analyst at Caremark and a Senior Consultant within the Strategy Consulting division at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She received a BS in biology from Boston College’s honors program, and an MBA in finance, accounting and economics from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
