BTIG Wins Best Capital Introduction Provider at Global Custodian Industry Leaders Awards

New York – December 14, 2021 BTIG announced today that the firm was named the Best Capital Introduction Provider in the Prime Brokerage category at Global Custodian’s Industry Leaders Awards 2021. The annual awards recognize fund service provider excellence across a wide range of categories and specialized services.

According to Global Custodian, award recipients were identified based upon scores from its 2021 prime brokerage survey, where clients were asked to assess the services that they receive from their prime brokers. BTIG’s performance in the survey included recognitions for category, peer group and global outperformer.

“We are very honored by this recognition by Global Custodian for our Capital Introduction capabilities. Whether working alongside our Prime Brokerage colleagues or directly with company leadership teams, investors and allocators, we aim to create value for managers as they launch, market and target new sources of capital,” noted Peter Tarrant, Managing Director, Head of Business Development and Global Capital Introduction at BTIG. “Being named best capital introduction provider highlights our dedication to client success. It is also a testament to the expertise of our team, led by Managing Directors Jennifer Bloom and Rachel Lucas, in helping managers achieve their investment objectives.”

The BTIG Capital Introduction team works closely with a wide variety of market participants to facilitate relevant introductions and build relationships. In the last year alone, the firm’s professionals made more than 5,000 manager-to-investor introductions.
