BTIG Expands Energy and Infrastructure Investment Banking Coverage with the Addition of Michael Bodino and Chris Gibson 

New York – July 8, 2026 – BTIG announced today the appointment of Michael Bodino and Chris Gibson as Managing Directors within its Energy & Infrastructure Investment Banking group. These hires add senior expertise to the team and broaden the firm’s coverage footprint.

Mr. Bodino brings more than 30 years of experience advising and financing energy companies across the sector. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Energy Investment Banking at Texas Capital Securities, where he helped establish the firm’s first industry vertical. Previously, Mr. Bodino was a Partner, Managing Director and Co-Head of Energy Investment Banking at Seaport Global Securities. Before investment banking, he led award-winning energy research teams producing commodity forecasts and thematic analysis. Mr. Bodino received The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” award and was consistently ranked among the top analysts covering U.S. oil and gas companies.

Prior to BTIG, Mr. Gibson served as a Managing Director in Investment Banking and Co-Head of Energy Investment Banking at Texas Capital Securities. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of the U.S. Energy Investment Banking Group at Stifel. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gibson served as Head of U.S. Energy Investment Banking at GMP Securities and Canaccord Genuity, where he helped build and lead their U.S. energy investment banking practices. He also held roles in energy corporate finance at Bank of America Securities, an energy investment affiliate of Jefferies Capital Partners, and RBC Capital Markets.
