The BTIG Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to learn about financial services while working alongside our team of knowledgeable professionals. Through an eight-week immersive experience, participants join our workforce and contribute to daily tasks and firm project work within their designated departments. Focused on helping our interns strengthen their skills, our program exposes participants to many facets of the financial services industry and helps refine their career goals and interests. Investment Banking

Participate in project work during the structuring and origination of transactions for strategic advisory and capital markets assignments alongside our seasoned investment bankers.

Research and Strategy

Support sector-focused research analysts across consumer, energy and infrastructure, financials, healthcare, real estate as well as TMT while gathering information and performing analytical tasks.

Finance and Reporting

Assist in the reconciliation of the middle office system while also helping to strengthen data in the reimbursement system and process payments for the accounting team.

Technology and Innovation

Work alongside developers to automate business needs, manage hardware integration or data transformations while monitoring products via analytics, and other data insight tools.

Institutional Sales and Trading

Learn first-hand from experienced sales and trading professionals, who proactively source natural multi-asset class liquidity, and precisely execute trades on behalf of clients in 50+ markets around the globe.

Prime Brokerage and Fund Services

Contribute to reporting and account maintenance for emerging and established fund manager clients while assisting with documentation requests and other goals of the Prime Brokerage client services team.

Legal and Compliance

Gain an understanding of various industry rules and regulations, participate in Compliance orientations with staff while assisting with audits and ad hoc projects as needed.

Corporate Communications

Expand knowledge of financial products and BTIG business objectives while assisting in research projects and the production of high-quality marketing content (presentations, press releases, web content and social media posts).
