Austin Hamilton

Austin Hamilton is a Managing Director and the Chief Compliance Officer of BTIG. He is responsible for the firm’s Compliance department and its various programs. Mr. Hamilton manages a team of compliance professionals in the U.S., and works closely with BTIG’s non-U.S. affiliate locations in Europe, Asia and Australia. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Committee. Prior to BTIG, Mr. Hamilton was the Chief Compliance Officer of Thomas Weisel Partners between 2000 and 2008. Previously, he held several senior roles within Compliance at Banc of America Securities, Montgomery Securities and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Hamilton received a BS in finance from St John’s University.
