Brian Petitt

Brian Petitt is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Prime Brokerage at BTIG. He oversees both the day-to-day operations and business development efforts of BTIG’s Prime Brokerage division. Mr. Petitt is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Committee. He joined BTIG in 2005 via Baypoint Trading, a predecessor of BTIG. Prior to BTIG, Mr. Petitt held several senior management roles including Head of West Coast Prime Brokerage Sales and Head of West Coast Prime Brokerage Relationship Management at Banc of America Securities. He began his career in 1995 in the Prime Brokerage division of Montgomery Securities, which was later acquired by Banc of America Securities. Mr. Petitt received a BA in business management from San Jose State University.
