Forrest Koenig, CFA

Forrest Koenig is a Managing Director and Head of Equity-Linked Capital Markets within BTIG Investment Banking. In this pivotal role, Mr. Koenig helps to lead the firm’s efforts in expanding its equity-linked capital markets reach by fostering strategic relationships with clients and driving innovative solutions to meet their evolving needs. Prior to BTIG, he was a Managing Director and Head of Convertible and Equity-Linked Capital Markets at JMP Securities. Previously, Mr. Koenig was a Managing Director in the equity-linked origination group at Piper Jaffray, focusing on the origination and structuring of convertible and equity-linked securities offerings. He started at Piper Jaffray as a quantitative risk analyst on the convertible sales and trading desk, where he concentrated on valuation, modeling and credit analysis. Mr. Koenig began his Wall Street career at Citigroup Smith Barney. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a BA in economics with minors in math and physics from the University of California, San Diego.
