K.C. Stone

K.C. Stone is a Managing Director and Head of BTIG Healthcare Investment Banking. Prior to BTIG, he was Managing Director and Head of Life Science Investment Banking at Wedbush-PacGrow. Mr. Stone has a long history of working with emerging growth companies from seed-stage to publicly traded institutions, and with the investors who fund them. Previously, he led the effort to finance and provide advisory services to numerous public and private companies through his roles as Managing Director of Private Placements at both Wedbush-PacGrow and Pacific Growth Equities. At Pacific Growth, Mr. Stone was also Senior Managing Director and Partner, and sat on the Executive and Commitment Committees. Earlier in his career, he ran Venture Capital Services at Volpe Brown Whelan & Company. Mr. Stone has served on the Board of Directors of The Guardsmen, a San Francisco-based charitable organization that funds access to high-quality educational and outdoor activities for inner-city youth. He is also a former member of the Board of Trustees for California Pacific Medical Center Foundation and the Board of Governors of the Wine & Food Society of San Francisco. Mr. Stone graduated from the University of Colorado – Leeds School of Business.
