Owen Bennett

Owen Bennett is a Managing Director and Consumer Staples Analyst at BTIG, a U.S. Bancorp company, specializing in the tobacco and beverage sectors. Prior to joining U.S. Bancorp | BTIG, Mr. Bennett led strategic finance initiatives at a nicotine vape start-up. He previously spent over 14 years covering the tobacco and cannabis industries at Nomura and Jefferies. At Nomura, he was part of a team ranked number one by Institutional Investor for tobacco coverage. During his tenure at Jefferies, he was consistently recognized as the number two Institutional Investor-ranked tobacco analyst. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bennett held positions at Deloitte and BDO and served as a financial analyst at Procter & Gamble. He is both an ACA and CFA charterholder. Mr. Bennett holds a BA in Business Studies and Information Management from Sheffield University and an MA in the Globalization of Business from Sheffield Hallam University.
