George King III

George King III is a Managing Director within BTIG’s Investment Banking. He is responsible for the firm’s southeastern regional coverage effort as well as advising companies in the industrials sector. Prior to BTIG, Mr. King led Corporate Development at the Executive Leadership Team level for three multinational corporations in the Fortune 500. Mr. King’s industry experience spans metals and mining, aerospace, building products, hvac, paper and forest products, and diversified industrials. Additionally, he has experience in takeover and activist defense, joint ventures, and cross border situations, having completed transactions in 14 countries. Earlier in his career, he was an Investment Banker in New York and London with Credit Suisse First Boston, Lazard, and Lehman Brothers. He received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
