BTIG Adds Energy and Shipping Equity Research Coverage with Gregory Lewis and Igor Levi
New York – May 23, 2018 – BTIG, LLC announced today that Gregory Lewis, CFA, and Igor Levi, CFA, have joined the firm to provide Energy and Shipping equity research coverage. Both analysts will be based in New York, and will report into David Lenchus, Director of Research at BTIG.
The addition of two new sectors within the research division will strengthen BTIG’s offering and diversify its capabilities for both institutional and corporate clients. With a significant trading presence across both verticals, BTIG continues to aggressively hire talent to service clients specifically focused on energy and shipping.

Mr. Lewis joins BTIG as a Managing Director. He will provide coverage of the Energy and Shipping sectors, focused on oil services and marine transportation. Prior to BTIG, Mr. Lewis spent eleven years at Credit Suisse, where he held similar roles including Global Head of Maritime Research. Previously, he was a Shipping and Oil Services Analyst at Fortis Bank. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lewis worked as an Engineer for a U.S. Naval contractor and engineering consulting firm.
Mr. Levi joins BTIG as a Director. He will provide coverage of the Energy sector, focused on oil services. Prior to BTIG, Mr. Levi held a similar role at Morgan Stanley, where he began his career over a decade ago.
