BTIG Adds Industry Veteran Carl Reichardt, Jr. to Launch Homebuilding and Building Products Research Coverage

New York – May 16, 2016 – BTIG, LLC, a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading, investment banking, research and related brokerage services, announced today that Carl Reichardt, Jr. will join the firm as a Managing Director within its Research and Strategy Group. Based in BTIG’s San Francisco office, Mr. Reichardt will cover homebuilding and building products.

Mr. Reichardt has over 15 years of experience covering homebuilding and building products. Prior to joining BTIG, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Hacienda Capital Partners. Previously, Mr. Reichardt spent eight years as a Homebuilding and Building Products Senior Equity Research Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years at Banc of America Securities and Montgomery Securities as a Real Estate and Consumer Equity Research Analyst. Mr. Reichardt also served in a number of key management roles within the homebuilding industry including Managing Director of Research at John Burns Real Estate Consulting, Co-Founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Stampede Ventures LLC, and he began his career with The Fieldstone Company. Mr. Reichardt has received multiple recognitions for his work, including being named an All-Star Analyst by The Wall Street Journal, a member of the All-America Research Team by Institutional Investor magazine, and a Top Analyst by the annual Greenwich Associates Survey.
