BTIG Adds John Silver and Andrew McSweeney to Foreign Exchange and Interest Rates Teams – Firm Grows Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Business with Senior Hires

New York – September 21, 2016 – BTIG, LLC announced today that John Silver, Managing Director of Foreign Exchange, and Andrew McSweeney, Managing Director of Interest Rates, have joined the firm’s growing Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Group in New York.

Mr. Silver has nearly 30 years of industry experience across fixed income, currency and commodities. Prior to BTIG, he was an Executive Director of Foreign Exchange at Nomura. Previously, Mr. Silver held similar roles within the Foreign Exchange Groups at Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers.

Mr. McSweeney has over 20 years of experience in U.S. Treasury products. Prior to BTIG, he was a Senior Vice President of U.S. Treasuries at Credit Agricole Securities. Previously, Mr. McSweeney was a Managing Director at Mizuho Securities, Credit Suisse and Nomura. Earlier in his career, he spent 16 years at Lehman Brothers on the U.S. Treasury and Financing desks.
