BTIG Adds JT Herman as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions


New York – September 20, 2018 BTIG, LLC announced today that it has hired JT Herman as Head of Mergers and Acquisitions within its Investment Banking division. Mr. Herman will be based in San Francisco.

Mr. Herman joins BTIG in a newly-created role at the firm. Prior to BTIG, he was a Managing Director at GCA, where he led the firm’s Industrials and Industrial Technology division. Earlier in his career, Mr. Herman was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he led the firm’s West Region Industrials unit in San Francisco. Prior to his career in investment banking, he was a Captain in the United States Air Force. Mr. Herman earned a BS in civil engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, an MS in engineering management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
