BTIG Adds Mark Secrest to Investment Banking Team – Firm Expands Medical Devices, Life Sciences Tools and Diagnostics Expertise with Seasoned Healthcare Banker


New York – April 12, 2016 – BTIG, LLC, a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading, investment banking, research and related brokerage services, announced today that Mark Secrest has joined the firm as a Managing Director within its Healthcare Investment Banking Group. Mr. Secrest will focus on the medical devices, life sciences tools and diagnostics industries, increasingly active areas of growth for the firm. Over the last year, BTIG has significantly built out its Investment Banking Group with a team of seasoned industry professionals.

Mr. Secrest has over 25 years of investment banking experience, most recently as a Managing Director and Head of Medical Devices M&A within the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Stifel. Previously, he was Head of Medical Devices M&A and Chairman of the Fairness Opinion Review Committee at Cowen. Earlier in his career, Mr. Secrest spent time in the M&A Groups at UBS Securities and Kidder, Peabody.
