BTIG Celebrates Success of its 11th Annual Commissions for Charity Day
New York – May 22, 2013 – BTIG LLC, a global financial services firm specializing in institutional trading and related brokerage services, raised over $4 million on Tuesday, May 14 from its annual Commissions for Charity Day. BTIG’s Commissions for Charity Day hosts athletes and celebrities to help raise money for a wide range of children’s charities. The money raised this year will be donated to charities around the world, including: Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Project Sunshine, St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children, Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program and Wounded Warrior Project, among others.
This was BTIG’s 11th annual Commissions for Charity Day. Over the past eleven years the firm has raised more than $28 million and supported hundreds of children’s charitable organizations.

This year’s Commissions for Charity Day was attended by dozens of athletes and celebrities including, in its New York office, Michael J. Fox, Michael Strahan, Matt Dillon, Joe Girardi, Mariano Rivera, Mark Teixeira, Tom Coughlin, Rex Ryan, Eli Manning, Miss America Mallory Hagan and Petra Nemcova; in its San Francisco office, Ronnie Lott, Joe Morgan, Marshawn Lynch and Vida Blue; in its Los Angeles office, Marcus Allen and Tony Gonzales; and in its London office, Mike Gatting OBE, Chris Tarrant OBE, Brian Conley, Aled Jones and Sinitta.
