BTIG Continues Expansion of Outsource Trading Unit with Director Michael Conze

New York – August 21, 2020 – BTIG announced today that Michael Conze has joined the firm’s Outsource Trading unit as a Director. Mr. Conze will be based in the firm’s New York region, and will report to Chris Casanovas, Managing Director and Head of Outsource Trading, at BTIG.

In his new role, Mr. Conze will expand the reach of the Outsource Trading team at BTIG. “We are excited to welcome Michael to BTIG,” commented Mr. Casanovas. “His extensive buy-side experience makes him an ideal fit for our Outsource Trading platform. We continue to add high-quality traders to complement our well-established team of outsource trading professionals.”

Mr. Conze has more than 20 years of industry experience. Prior to BTIG, he was a Healthcare Trader at Pura Vida Investments. Previously, Mr. Conze was an Equities Trader at Point 72 Asset Management, where he supported several different portfolio managers at the fund for over a decade. Earlier in his career, he held similar positions within U.S. Institutional Equity Sales at MKM Partners and UBS Warburg. Mr. Conze was also an Associate within the Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch. He earned a BA from Providence College.
