BTIG Expands Consumer Research Coverage with Alan Rifkin – Firm Adds Industry-Leading Retail Hardlines/Broadlines Analyst

Mr. Rifkin’s research coverage will focus on retail hardlines/broadlines.

Covering the retail hardlines/broadlines sector for over 20 years, Mr. Rifkin has a deep understanding of the industry and is widely sought after for his insights. As a thought leader in the space, he has received numerous industry recognitions for his work. Prior to joining BTIG, Mr. Rifkin was a Managing Director and Retail Hardlines/Broadlines Equity Research Analyst at Barclays Capital from 2011 through 2015. Between 2000 and 2011, he held similar Managing Director roles within the Retail Hardlines/Broadlines Equity Research Group at both Bank of America and Lehman Brothers. Mr. Rifkin has been recognized 13 times between 2001 and 2015 by Institutional Investor, named “Best on the Street” by The Wall Street Journal for estimate accuracy in 2001, and ranked as a top-rated analyst by the Greenwich Survey between 2001 and 2006.
