BTIG Investment Banking Adds Industry Veteran Kimberly Boulmetis as a Managing Director to Its Specialty Finance Unit


New York – August 12, 2020 BTIG announced today that Kimberly Boulmetis has joined the firm’s Specialty Finance Investment Banking unit as a Managing Director. Ms. Boulmetis will be based in the firm’s New York office, and will report to Dan Blood, Managing Director and Head of Specialty Finance, at BTIG.

In her new role at the firm, Ms. Boulmetis will expand banking coverage of business development companies (BDCs), asset managers, closed-end funds and mortgage REITS. “We are thrilled to add Kim to our banking leadership team,” commented Matt Clark, Chief Operating Officer, BTIG Investment Banking. “She brings extensive experience in dealmaking across the specialty finance vertical. We look forward to her insight and to her contributions across our banking pipeline.”

Ms. Boulmetis has more than 20 years of investment banking and debt capital markets experience. Prior to BTIG, she was a Managing Director within FIG Investment Banking at Oppenheimer, responsible for providing strategic and financing solutions to alternative and traditional asset managers and real estate companies. Previously, Ms. Boulmetis held similar roles at Incapital, Alliance Bernstein, Bank of New York, JP Morgan and Bear Stearns. She earned a BS in finance from the University of Maryland, College Park and a JD from Rutgers School of Law.
