BTIG to Postpone Annual Snowbird, Utah Healthcare Conference, New York Financials Conference and Other Firm-Sponsored Events

New York – March 5, 2020 – BTIG announced today that after careful consideration the firm has decided to postpone two upcoming conferences and four other group meetings due to concerns over the potential risks relating to the continuing spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19 virus). The BTIG Healthcare Conference in Snowbird, Utah, previously scheduled for March 17-20, 2020, and the BTIG Financials Conference in New York, previously scheduled for April 2, 2020, are postponed. The firm has also decided to postpone other group meetings, planned to take place in the coming weeks, including two Emerging Manager Seminars and two group luncheons.

“With the ongoing concerns over the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we felt that it was prudent to postpone these upcoming events,” noted Scott Kovalik, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BTIG. “We are disappointed about having to postpone these events. A number of corporate and institutional clients have expressed concern about large meetings. Under the current circumstances we feel that this is in the best interest of our clients and employees. We are thankful for all the efforts of the healthcare providers globally and express sympathies to all families impacted by the coronavirus.”
